Personal Trainers have to practice what they preach, sometimes that's not the case with some of us in the industry. I took a dip with my physique 4 years ago, I was busy as a trainer and I didn't put time aside for my own training. If you work ridiculous hours on end, you'll have nothing left for yourself, it will leave you in a negative state and that's what I was in. Training isn't always going to be fun, you won't be 100% motivated all of the time but be patient, be consistent, focus on that goal and you'll get there. what is vpt?

  • Virtual Personal Training caters for a complete beginner to an experienced gym goer. It is designed to burn fat, enhance tone, improve your physical & mental well-being in a motivating environment.
  • The VPT concept is having both client and Personal Trainer exercising together with live interaction, constant feedback & careful instruction through the screen of your laptop, tablet or smart phone.
  • Each session is 40 minutes and can hold up to 3 participants. 
  • VPT goes beyond the session itself with nutritional tracking, homework allocation to encourage exercise outside of VPT in the form of an app.
  • You'll have 24/7 member support from Charlie with any questions or queries you may have.

what will i need?

  • Gym attire
  • Laptop, tablet or smart phone
  • Tablet/phone stand (optional but recommended)
  • Resistance band – it can easily be stowed away in your travel bag
  • Water bottle
  • Wireless headphones (optional)

how will it work?

Step 1
Pre-screening will involve an online Q&A to find out your goals/needs, medical history check and clearance from your GP to exercise.
Step 2
Book an online 1 on 1 session with Charlie for an induction into VPT where we will undergo a few tests for physical capabilities, set expectations for the programme, be given Charlie’s recommendation on how many times you should be exercising per week and booking in your 1st official VPT session!
Step 3
You will receive Charlie’s manual on all the tools needed prior to training, you’ll download and book a call on Skype, Facetime or any other video communication platform to launch the video call to start your VPT session!
Step 4
Reap the benefits of VPT, re-book for your next session and receive a follow up from Charlie on how you got on with your training session.

how does it compare?

Home Visit Personal Training
  • Home visits require excess space to work, it can take time to setup and prices can be steep and requires excess space to work.
  • If you're on the go as a travelling professional, you can have your Personal Trainer handy in your travel bag.
  • Setup time is kept to a minimum and your trainer will be exercising with you when you sweat it up.
  • If you'd like to buddy up or train in a group of 3 to get that extra motivation, you can setup a conference call & exercise together.
  • You will have the comfort of your own space without the need of a trainer or training buddy to be physically present.
Gym
  • The gym can be a daunting and an intimidating place for a new comer or an experienced gym goer returning from a break.
  • Open spaces can be a barrier to avoiding the gym, if you’re looking for privacy to complete your workout, a gym may not be an option.
  • The fear of looking stupid is something we all experience when trying vast options of machinery/equipment and the overwhelming choices can add to that fear.
  • VPT can be there to get you started and if you’d like to incorporate the gym, we have an app that’ll give you the necessary guidance to get you there.

1 on 1 VPT Sessions

2 on 1 VPT Sessions

***Sessions are paid in blocks of 4 and can be paid in your home currency exchanged to the amount advertised above.
